Glad to hear you all post your stories. I'm always venting to my friends about how anoying it is with some of these cars. One of them summed it up best that the Mustang is the measuring stick for average cars that have a K&N filter or computer chip and think they are just as fast.

I get all sorts of POS cars trying to prove something. Short list goes like this... Civics, Nissan 200SX, Chevy/Dodge pickups, Thunderbird, Grand Prix, and many others that have been mentioned in this thread already.

I hope Boomer is right about the exhaust (should have mine on soon). It'd be nice to just rev the engine and make them go away.

I got a few people time to time. Usually when in heavy traffic, which confuses me since I don't know where they plan on going.
One thing I have noticed though is that when on the highway and passing someone, as soon as they see whats passing them, they have to speed up.

I just got revved at by at VW Gulf this afternoon, he stared at me and revved as he rolled past me. The only mod I could see was a nice bondo job on his hood, didn't even sound like he was sporting the fart can.

People always revving this car and i'm ashamed to admit it, but I usually take the challenge. Out driving w/my son and a camaro wants to play. I try to be an adult (with 18 year old in car) and ignore them. They take off at the light and cross over right in front of me,really close, with no other cars around and no reason for the lane change except to tick me off. I changed lanes and stayed with them until we caught another light. I wasn't able to cut them off because I was so darn far ahead of them in just seconds! Son looks over and says "Mom, you have no self control." I told him it's not me, it's this BAD car!" Curious though, whats with all the trucks wanting play?

In the fall I was pulling up to a 4-way stop in my '05 with an orange fart-canned civic arcoss the way from me... he immediately revs it up and gunned it through the intersection (no wheelspin), while giving me the "evil eye" look.

I gave him a thumbs-up as he drove by, to show how much I appreciated his car
