Just to let everyone know, I talked to someone at AAI about this delay, and as far as they know, nothing other than the GTs with the IUP were at fault. Shipping started last week on both the V6 on Monday and the GT either Thurs or Fri. Obviously some have already started picking them up, so its just a matter of time now.

Hey cdemot02,
I know it's a free country and all, thank God. But would you consider changing your Avatar. This site is for cars and fun, not politics. Let alone distaseful politics.
Get a life cdemot02! Why are you instigating trouble? [/b][/quote]
Talk about cars then. You brought it up. Stangnet is open.

I check Forddirect.com this morning and they have more cars as inventory to dealers. GTs with iup also some dealers have 4 to 6 cars listed where as they had 1 or 2 yesterday.

I spoke to a rep at the VOPC yesterday to check on a GT that was produced 9/7. She said that cars were being held at a ramp in Flat Rock but that mine and many others were being moved for shipping. She seemed upbeat that the cars were starting to ship from this holding area and that shipping was getting back on track.
It is very frustrating that Ford's status reports that the dealers use are not accurate. Don't be to surprised if your dealer is confused. IF your shipping status does not seem accurate, have your dealer call the VOPC. My understanding is that there is so much going on with all the new products, that the IT has trouble keeping the data up to date.

Thumbs up

Hey guys, I have a question. I'm in the same kind of boat with my dealer knowing jack squat. I want to tell him to call the VOPC. I just have no idea what that stands for. Could someone please fill me in?? Thanks!

I asked the same question on the First page.

And was told.

BEK, thanks for sharing this with us. If she is upbeat, and you are upbeat, then it gives me some hope that things are moving. B)

The sticky 'teeth' tape on the bumpers are scaring the truck drivers away.
