LOL so you are saying when I shut off my TC I am driving a front wheel drive? I never knew that.

The reason I asked? A guy at work has a hemi Magnum. When he shuts his TC off, it only cuts it by 50%. Just wondering if Ford did the same thing...

where it should be - all this traction control and mess takes the driving out of driving

I think it's a good thing for everyday driving, but not for the enthusiast.

When roads are dry I switch it off. When roads are damp I switch it on. Simple as that.

Idk, I just sorta hate all these computer driven cars. It takes the driving out of driving. Some things are nice, such as ABS, which I had my first experience with the other day...but most of it is awful. Soon you'll need a computer degree just to start the car up.

I wish there was a way to have the default setting be "OFF", and then choose to turn it on when you need it instead of the other way around. I just can't seem to remember to turn it off everytime I turn off the car, then I forget later.

The Dodge system is a lot more intrusive than the T/C in the Mustang. The Dodge system does not allow you to put one of those cars on the dyno just by turning off the TC with the obvious switch.

There is a series of key turns and button presses that the Dodge Charger/Magnum owners need to go through to turn it off completely for a dyno trial of just to smoke-em for fun.

It is a wierd series that probably an engineer leaked out, begining with turning the key to start while driving at least 10 miles an hour! For the rest...

That's rediculous, and I'd be ****ed off if I had to go through that. I used to just be worried about people eating/drinking/talking on phones/smoking/using the nav system/reading the paper and maps/even changing all while driving, but now I have to worry about people paying attention to the dash, and turning the key and all too?
