Dirt clod off truck hit my hood (pics)

The picture doesn't show it but there is a small indentation. Since it was a dirt clod it made several scratches. I can't touch it up since it is dented. This aluminum seems awful soft.
I think they will have to repaint this whole stripe.

I can't wait to post a picture of someone leaving a finger print on my car (when I ever get it)? Really though, must people always post such small irrelavent material. Sorry, flame me. It's amazing what the mods decide can stay on this portion of the website. Brad needs to make a new section. "Bad things that have happened to my car" section

heck, I get upset when I leave the car wash and the guy in front of me decides to use his windshield sprayer and blows a fountain of **** all over my new shine.
Give the guy a break why don't you....

Sorry to see that. That is a sweet looking car. I wish I had painted stripes.

Anyway, paint is the only way to go. The vinyl stirpes are not as vibrant and don't shine up well. The stripes on the Roush have an especially poor visual quality.
Watch out for road junk.
I wish we lived somewhere where we could call 911 (emergencies only) regarding any damage to a car and actually get a response within a reasonable amount of time - we'd be following a car around for at least a week.
our new gt was hit within an hour after we left dealership -- nothing major but did remove the paint...and yes i wanted to vent to TMS! TMS members understand.
dswhalen - when insuring the new gt, i just mentioned in passing to insurance agent that our 20 yr old collegiate would not be driving stang (because she can't drive a manual) - agent said they would not consider her in rate premimum; only on the one car she does normally drive. although this might not help in deductible, reducing rates is always helpful.
