Difference between IUP (top photo) and no IUP (bottom photo) IUP = interior upgrade package

The IUP cluster looks so weird to me because I've been used to driving my non-IUP. The non-IUP even includes a retro push-button to reset the trip odometer. It also selects between the odometer and trip odometer. It can't display both the odometer and trip odometer at the same time!

I wish I had the extra gauges in mine.

The battery and oil gauges are really idiot gauges. I've never had a Ford battery gauge actually help. The oil pressure gauges tell you that there's oil pressure or no oil pressure - equally useless.

The only thing in the IUP that I would have wanted in my GT was the trip computer but I don't really need one. A pencil and paper pad is all I need to calculate gas mileage.

Unless you want the MyColor feature, and I like the trip computer because it offers a bit more then just millage.

I'm the same way but I got the IUP so the non-IUP looks wierd. I like not having the retro button, just one more thing that could possibly break with my luck.

The main reason I got IUP was for the Leather Wheel. I read that it is standard on 09's.

The Wheelskins leather cover feels a lot better than the IUP leather wheel. I've never liked Ford's "leather" material.

A couple weeks ago I noticed the water temp reaches a point and stops. While sitting in traffic the Ford Racing gauge went from 195 to 220 while the factory gauge stayed the same.

Yep, that's essentially an idiot gauge. The oil pressure gauges in Fords generally are the same. It shows you either have oil pressure or no oil pressure.

The Jack Roush tuned Marauders had Autometer Comp gauges from the factory and they were still idiot gauges. Some people modified them to work as real gauges.

What did you think of Livonia? That's actually not the worst part of the area. There's a lot of businesses and industrial zones in that area.

TOO much traffic in a small area.....Definately not used to the type of drivers in the area but had a great time while we were there.
