I for one will NEVER ECER EVER Deal with CCapital again I was a memeber for 15 years one night parker to use ATM before a movie come outside here my name and see an old friend across the road so we go in side to pay for thier gas a gab when I come WTF my company van was stolen they have a private tow moniter there empty lot and they towed it $ 75.00 I got it back, happened to another guy two days later but he went to the pub next door went in freaked they gave him money back. So I was told through a few people that use the lots broker they have a Gopher that bounces from lot to lot and supposedly gets you the best prices to be had ? So when my unit comes in I'll do it then and there.

We recently put our son and daughter (17 year old twins) on our insurance policy. We have two cars in the house, and the kids share the Hyundai Santa Fe with my wife, while I get the Stang myself. B)

Anyway, our insurance went up about $1500 a year with the two extra part-time drivers, and everyone is covered no matter which car they drive. My wife was shopping around for cheaper rates, and found several insurance companies that refused to cover the Mustang. :notnice: Neither of us have had any accidents or tickets in over 20 years.

My quote from Progressive was $568 / 6 months. That is 250,000/500,000/100,000 with $500 collision and comp deductibles. I am going to check with AAA today.

I use All State on my house, as well as my car... so I get a bit of a discount there. My insurance went up a hundred dollars a month from when we had my wife's '02 PT Cruiser. That's also adding on my '86 F150 to the coverage. So $100 more to add on my truck and swap out the PT for the Stang... not too bad. I say go with a bigger name insurance company. The smaller companies might charge a few bucks less, but you are going to run into problems with them not wanting to cover everything that the bigger companies will. Not to mention, you get better service and faster claims with larger insurance companies.

Man I'm looking at paying $2600 annually for an 05 V6. That includes multi-line discounts, good student discount, and my record is now completely clear. I can't wait until next year when I get my discount for being 25 years old.

I've shopped around and no one can beat State Farm.

The primary reason why I'm hosed in the insurance department is that after a speeding ticket I had to drop my Pemco coverage and go to Deerbrook. Well Deerbrook pulled out of the state and I was 1 day late on my payment and they cancelled my coverage. Well I wasn't privy to this until a WEEK after my coverage stopped. State Farm was the cheapest but because of circumstances at the time I was in the highest bracket.

If you have deerbrook run for the hills!

I would think that an car insurance company would not want not want to insure a person based on their driving record and not the type of car they drive .

Like someone else mentioned here, I am pretty sure they insure vettes, gtos, camaros and previous year mustangs, so I wonder what's up?

That's nuts. Why don't they just charge some outrageous rate instead of not covering it at all? It's a modern, mass produced car that happens to be high performance. Expensive maybe but should be possible. Dump em'!

USAA is outstanding but you need to have that military connection. Good luck finding a better deal.

My Insurance agent (from State Farm), she just needed the vin & to know that everything stayed the same. It went up about $30 a month.

In fact I think we are paying around 215 a month. But that is with 18 life ins, multi-line (a 03 single cab, 4cyl Ranger), & that they had to pay to fix my 03 when I swerved to avoid a guy who was pulling out in front of me. Besides we only have the 250 ded. w/ full cov. But it's only for another 2 years until I turn 25.

Besides I am not rated on the Stang. I am rated on the Ranger as primary driver & my mom is rated on the Stang. But we are both on the policies as covered drivers. So, it really doesn't matter what I drive.

Paying $680 per year on my 05 GT through Erie Insurance.
No tickets/accidents.

I've been told by eveybody around that they are the lowest.

Erie Insurance

Not just because of prices, they have great service.

The other way to find a good insurance company to go to the body shop that you would use, and ask them who is good to work with about using OEM parts, and cutting the check.

Sounds kinda similar to mine... $220 a month to State Farm and $26.95 of it is life insurance and about $194.05 for the Mustang. I can't wait until the rate discount at 25

It wasn't posted as a prank, it was a real dream; nitemare. I see it had a lasting affect on you though. I have called a few places and many others will cover my vehicle with private insurance, so I am going elsewhere.

Full coverage (collision, comprehensive, replacement cost, 2 million liability, rental car usage, roadside assistance) will be right about $1400 CAN a year, that is just a little over $100 a month. I see many others on here are paying well over $200US a month, man that is expensive!

My car is on my parents' policy because I still live with them, they didn't give us any hassle over insuring the 'stang, and it actually didn't go up as much as my dad thought it would. The difference was about 100 bucks every six months compared to the truck I traded in.

Check around for other companys.

I have a Very Good driving record.
When I called to add the GT to the policy, it was going up about $300 every 6 months. I was expeting an increase.
They asked if it had any security system on and I had a GPS security system on it.
They said that was good, and the increase would ONLY be $86

So check around

:bang: Insurance in Boston, Ma for my 05 is $2800. 00 a year with $1000.00 ded.
on colision and $500.00 ded. on theft.

I had an 88 s10 pickup with the lowest allowable coverage & no collision or theft and it was costing close to $900.00 a year :bang:

Has anyone tried Drive by Progressive? I saw a commercial for it and just pulled a quote. It was about $100 per year less than with a normal Progressive quote. My rate was $536 per six months for 100/300, $500 deductibles, and $30 rental.
