Just went to my local dealer. He says that now ALL IUP packages are on hold, including the GT. And the 'Sport Appearance Package' (IUP lite) is the full IUP package minus the My Color and the 2 gauges. He 'confirmed' this with another salesman  . I went to this dealer because the other local one told me that the Red Leather was no longer available. I even tried explaining to them what's supposed to be on hold/unavailable and on which models. They still insist it can't be done. :bang: :bang: :bang: Can anyone confirm any of this??? We don't need to rehash this, but they're wrong, right? Did anything new come out today?
On a positive note, I saw the 'My Color' in person for the first time. Way Cool! That went from 'can live without' to 'must have!'
I went to the Ford site, and of course, it's useless. So what do I do now that I'm ready to order???

I am off today but have checked my e-mail a few times. There have been no new updates. As far as the IUP hold, it is a hold on the V's and a delay on the GT's. The GT's will get built with the full IUP, you may just have to wait a while. I have had two different people at Ford confirm for me that the IUP "lite", 18R order code I believe, adds ONLY the steering wheel and shifter upgrade, nothing else. As soon as Ford releases an updated order guide, I'll get it to Brad to post.

Spoke to my dealer as well today. He said as far as his orders were concerned and he had 6 of them, none have been delayed because of IUP holds...

According to my dealer... maybe never.
According to the better info on this forum about 8 weeks, maybe slightly longer. Also that's 8 working weeks, from what I've heard the Ford plant is shut down for 2 weeks around Christmas. I wouldn't expect it until early '06. Sorry, wish the news was better.
