I was reading all these post about people expecting their cars in this week and I got a bit excited. I have a deposit on a car with a dealership here in Miami and I call and bug my dealer all the time about the status. Since I had called him once today already I was kinda emabraced so I called another dealer to ask about the 05's arrival. He told me that they would recieve them before the month ended and that the dealership took no deposits. When I asked him about the GT he told me that they would only recieve one and that in the whole entire state of Florida only 3 were going to be shipped . Now I dont know if he might of thought that I was talking about the Ford GT instead of the mustang GT. Well anyways I was posting to see if you guys thought this could actually be a possibility bc if it is true my dealer is really going to shaft me with either a different car or a long wait.

yea he deffinatly was.....for a second when he told me that I felt like crying. He also told me that his dealership was the only one in miami getting the GT so he either took me as the biggest idiot on the earth or was confused. I was wondering if any one in Florida has heard from their dealers about delivery date or anything like that.....please post replys

All signs pointing to Saturday for first arrival. It's not a fact, but many here are anticipating a sleepless night on Friday.

SickofMyVWAlready thats a great name and im in the same boat as you. I have a 2000 Golf base engine and base everything. I have come to hate the car so much and cant wait to get rid of it. Hopefully you are right about delivery date and we can be doing this over the fact that we got rid of these cars.

Nice I ordered mine around the same time as you did from Ford of Coral Gables. My dealer gave me the VIN number as well (106649) and a priority number of 15. He never gave me the build date of the car though. I just want to have my car by my birtday ( Oct. 11 ) so that I can finall be liberated from the golf.

I'm in West Palm Beach, but ordered mine from Bartow Ford. The local dealers were absolutely clueless and didn't even make an attempt to get info about ordering a GT (Mustang). So, I went to 4 dealers, 3 local, and 1-Bartow. I told them all to call me when they have any information. The only one to call was Bartow. Anyways, my car is being built this week and my dealer thinks it should arrive the 1st or 2nd week of October.
