So here's a quick Q for any of you who have an X or especailly A/Z plan. Other than shopping you trade (for highest price) what sorts of extras do you try to get a dealer to throw in for you to buy the car through them. I know that this especially happens in areas around plants where virtually everyone walking in the door has set pricing already.

Ummm, unless you are in one of those areas (around plants and such) I would bet you won't get too much out of them. Especially on an '05. They are nice enough to let you wait 8 weeks for one at that pricing. Some around here give you lower priority so it could take longer. You can try, but I don't think you will get very far.

I got a ticket for a free fill up, a free state inspection with emissions ($60 value) and a fee oil change. That was with an x-plan.

A better part, was the dealer gave me the PIN number for the X-plan. I originally had one, but it was getting complicated since it was thru my step-dad. So the dealer called a friend and got me one.

Is that free tank of gas really free? They charge you (they did me anyway) for 11 gallons of gas. It shows up on my order confirmation form.

Yeah, they did charge me. I asked by salesman, why am I being charged for 11 gallons, weehn the meter says I have 15 miles left to empty. He smiled and gave me a slip to get a full tank. I actually got more than 11 gallons, so I got a few gallons free.
