After seeing 2 members get their 05's here makes me want to see one in person. I called 2 local dealers and Meridian Ford sales person told me that they will not have any until late December. Lithia Ford of Boise said about 2 - 3 weeks at the earliest.

DirectFord.com shows that Meridian Ford has 1 Lime Green GT and 1 Torch red V6 in inventory. Lithia Ford has 2 GT's and several V6's in inventory.

It just seems that the sales people are completely in the dark on these cars. They are not going to need to try and sell these cars (they will just drive off the lot as soon as they are there).

Why can't the dealers be more informed with dates and reasons of hold ups?

Just have to keep checking and waiting.

 

Just keep waiting ... you'll hurt yourself less. It could also be that a lot of those cars are sold already, but I don't know anything about the area so I don't know how possible that may be. It isn't clear yet at what point the cars actually show up in inventory, it might be when the car is finished or when the car is shipped. Check back in like a week and see if theres anything new.

 

Inventory is showing vehicles that are not entered in the system as "Retail" or sold items.

 

I did some work at a Ford dealership this week. I do work for them plenty much, and trust me, they KNOW I want a Mustang. When I can swing it I dunno, but I'm tryin'!

Anyway, yeah, pretty much, unless they're like Kevin or BEK, they don't care. It's "just" a car they can't sell yet, 'cause it's not there in the metal. The guys and gals there are pretty much tired of hearing about the 05 when they got 6 04s on the lot. So truly, they could care less, they just want to sell cars. Can't really blame them, can ya?

Of course, if you were to flash them a monetary type thing at them I bet they'd get somewhat more knowledgeable.

I'm bettin' that they're just telling you something to cool your jets, so that when it DOES get here, they can say "Hey! I guess they came early, would you like to come see (and be pressured a bit to buy?)"

Now people in Colorado are getting them so it is getting closer. I will do a drive by today and see if either of the dealers have transports with them or any sign of spaces for them yet.

One dealer called me back last night and said he could order me one. I told him I was wanting to drive one before ordering it. I guess this is as close as I am going to get to them for a while c:

 

i did the same thing here in Florida i checked forddirect.com and seen that a couple local dealers were supposed to have a few 05s in and out of 5 dealers only one actually had one in, and i too was told the same thing like another month or so....

 

I care too, even if I am somewhat of a noob!

 

one thing is for sure they are on the way one of the local dealers seen that i posted a requests from forddirect.com and he just called me and i told him i seen that the net says they have a blackGT. luckily he said it should be there in a day or two cant wait
