At just over 1000miles I developed a squeak in my dash. It's when I hit bumps, all the way over by the passenger door, and my glovebox is empty.

Anyone else have this or know of a fix?

And please, no WD40 jokes...

I have both squeeks and rattles in my dash.... I have no idea what it is except bad craftmanship.

Have you tried playing with the air vents on that side at all?

Yeah, I don't know what it is. I've tried a few brief closed fists smacks to the top of the dash, that didn't help either.

I'll just list a few things off the top of my head:

window not up all the way
have you moved the passenger seat lately?
something to do with the seatbelt?
tried jiggling the handle on the glovebox?
theres another thread on here with a pic of under the glovebox, have you tried looking at the wires under there and making sure they aren't rubbing?

If I think of anything else I'll post ...

I seem to recall seeing more squeek complaints from owners with the IUP package. It may even be behind the passenger dash panel and related to the airbag installation. You may need to have someone else ride in your car and listen for the squeek.

I have IUP and also have squeeking. Definately coming from the rear of the dash. Eh, I'm not sure getting rid of the noise is worth having a ford technician ripping appart my factory installed dash. I'm going to leave it for the time being.
