I have only had the car 1 week...I back out of the garage today and see some stuff on the floor, I walk over and see shiney metal and fiberglass shreads...and a mouse dropping, I open the hood and look around and find the varmint has chewed the heat shielding off the power steering hose at the left rear of the engine bay and also chewed the brake resevoir and the cap up   , I have never had rodent problems in this garage, the Shelby and 3 Harleys have been in there for some time now without a hint of trouble!
What is it with these new Mustangs that seem to attract misfortune, lol
I made a trip to the hardware store and loaded up on some anti mouse arsenal, we will see what happens in the morning...grrrr

I had mice in my garage. I found about a pound of dog food that they were stashing in my heater ducts. One mouse died in my dash and the smell was pretty bad. This was my BMW and the dealer wanted $2K to pull the dsah out and get the litlle dead bugger out.
It's pretty common.

get a bucket of water filled about 3/4 of the way and hang a tasty morsel of cheese or peanut butter (this works better) over the bucket. The little buggers go after the bait and fall in, drowning. It works really good too.

good ideas guys
nope, we dont live on a farm, actually we are just down the street from the big Microsoft campus.. I do hear they have lots of mice there...get it?
We dont have any pets either so its not a dog food etc problem. I think this time of year when its cold outside the mice sneak indoors looking for nesting materials and a warm place to hide.

I just checked the traps, I used three types, old school, sticky, and those new plastic ones.
they took the bait off the oldschool ones without tripping the trap, moved the sticky ones accross the floor and only left fur and dusty paw prints, and tripped one of the plastic ones and didnt do anything to the other one.
Its back to the hardware store for larger traps today! and stickier peanut butter....this is WAR I tell ya!
