Does the seat back and bottom cushion center section in the dark charcoal cloth GT interior look like the pic below? Is the contrast betweem the background of the seat back and seat cushion fabric is as great is the pic shows? It looks like a different color in this pic. Or, is it similar to the light graphite and medium parchment? The embossed Horse fabric on these seats matches the color of the rest of the seat. The order guide at the dealer doesn't have a fabric sample of the charcoal fabric, and I can't find any other pics of the cloth seat for reference.

Yep, those are the DRK Charcoal cloth, for the GT with the ponys.
The V6 seat, says MUSTANG where the ponys are on the GT.

 

I have a question about dark charcaol leather. How close is it to normal black leather? And also why does ford offer black leather?

I was set in going for the red interior, but if the charcole leather looks like this pic I will go with this instead. This charcole leather looks very rich and sporty looking! I also think having only the dark charcole really shows off the crome dash and trim!

 

Man, that picture above looks so good. It reminded me of the nice seats in the 2004 Mach 1. Here is a snapshot - the shape of the cabin is similar, and the angle of seats is similar. Very cool.

Well, if so, I don't know why they don't offer black, but the dark charcoal should be pretty close to black, anyway.
