I want a set of 'Eleanor' style Halibrands, 19".

Or some HRE's, Fikse FM5's, Simmons etc, etc.

I don't have time to post pics, but will in a bit.

Post your pics and your opinions....

Josh

Ford FR500 Rims, 19 inch.

Or BBS RKs, which are essentially the same rim.

-Interested to see the Bullitt (torque thrust style) in 18s with the 'ford spinner' to see how they look.
Torque Thrusts are nice..but a bit overdone.

-The Fanblade 18s look great

I'd LOVE to see what SVT has up their sleeves, as usually they are pretty cool.

If i could get 18 inch 03 Cobra rims machined...I'd be SOLD!!!
or
18 inch Ford GT CONCEPT style deep dish rims....

I don't suppose we have any idea what'll fit under the rear wheel wells?

I'm glad I didn't spend the wheel money yet on my '69, but it'll still hopefully end up being on a set of 18 or 19x10's for the rear. What fit under the current GT or Cobra, assuming the same track width?

I would like to see ford do something with a deep dished rear and a smaller dish on the front. I love the bbs rk's. I would love to see ford take a spin off of the 16 inch wheel just taller and deeper dished.

I've made up my mind I think, either 18" or 20" Bonspeed Deltas. After I saw them in that BFGoody ad I just couldn't stop grinning. But then again, the Halibrands are sweet too, I've never seen the FR500's I don't think, post some pics!!! I would if I knew how!!!

These are the FR500's, the reproductions from Ford racing are single piece and not made out of magnesium, but still only 27lbs.

IMO, the Torque Thrust II style wheels look terrible on the '05.
I love the Torque Thrust II's on my '03 and it's the only reason I got the premium package. Maybe it's just because I'm so used to seeing them on the current Mustang
However, the 17" and especially the 18" rims look even worse. IMO, those are some of the ugliest wheels I've ever seen, Mustang or any other car.
I think the V-6's wheels look the best and they're more retro, but they would have to be at least 18's to put them on the GT.
Can't wait to see what they plan on putting on the '07 Cobra.
I know a lot of people like the new wheels and I don't want to **** anyone off, I just don't like them.

Hallibrand gunmetal, 18x9s are only 211 bucks!

Chromies:

Deep dish(17's only, but would look awesome with a little bit of extra rubber anyway):
