Can someone with a 5sp GT answer this. I did a seach, but couln't find anything. I found the gear and rear end ratios, but really don't feel like calculating out the resutl.

Can someone tell me what the RPMs are at 60 and 70 and 80 mph. Just cerious more than anything. Thx.

EDIT: I guess I should be more specific. By a 5spd, I mean the 5spd manual.

You can calculate this from the test data. Per C/D, 5th gear is 32.8MPH per 1000RPM, so 60MPH = 1829RPM.

That seems ridculously low.

Wasn't a math major, though, so somebody back me up on that.

70MPH would be 2134RPM

80MPH would be 2439RPM

That might be right. My 02 turns exactly 2000rpm at 110 kph, which is about 68 mph.

See, now I would have converted back to KMH for you, but that would have taxed my limited math skills even more. B)
