Judging by the selection of 'fine quality' automobiles parked around them during the show, you might be right.....
(Either that or they are just dumb as paint........)

I think age has 95% to do with how we treat our vehicles. The people in that clip seemed fairly young. I am only 26 and I too have been known to drive like an idiot and beat the heck out of my car, but thats the fun of it though. I am sure when I am older I will be a little more sensible....but I will be doing burnouts till they take my license away at 95 years old!!

I dont think thats really beating up on the GT that much. When you go to the track and heat up some slicks you do the same thing. I think the car is built with that type of tomfoolery in mind. They have one burning out in the 05 booklet from the dealer...ok granted not that much smoke. I bet once they get hot there is probably not that much friction so the tires are just spinning easily. Now it is bad for the tread life [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/lol.gif[/img]

The Lime V6 has custom wheels/tires on the other three corners (look as the camera swings around the front of the car) and a stock V6 rim on the right rear. If you listen, he tells someone to make sure the other back wheel DOESN'T spin. He's obviously just killing his takeoffs for kicks. Sorta dumb, but I did dumber things at that age.
