definitally planning on the IUP package, and leaning towards the CAP package, but haven't seen it with the redfire. Think the CAP is hot with a black car, ok with silver, not really inpressed with a white car, haven't seen either red wiht the cap package in person, although there is one in torch red at a dealer about 40 miles away, a road trip may be in order

Current dealer (sales manager) where I got my O5 F-150 from claims the order bank for convertibles wasn't open as of last week Wednesday. Since I know the owner of the dealership (through Scuba diving ect) I will try to give them a second call prior to searching out another dealer.

The F150 was part of my plan to get a vert, previous to this year I have been leasing a Lincoln Navagator.

If they're taking orders there should be an order guide with all the codes, right? Any news on that Brad?

I have a copy of the dealers "order guide" dated 9/1/04 that includes the convertible. I was a bit disappointed that a white top is not available on the 2005 only black and tan tops are available

The body code are
GT Premium & Deluxe is T85
V6 Premium and Deluxe is T84

Order Code are
V6 Deluxe 150A
V6 Premium 160A
GT Deluxe 170A
GT Premium 180A

convertible Soft Boot 59B

convertible roof color
A = Black
M = Parchment

Stripe availability on hte V6 convertible is dependent on body and roof color

the order guide has been on mustangsource.com under documents for quite awhile and has included the codes for verts. All the dealers I went to in beginning of November said they were not able to place orders for verts except one. The one that said he could and produced a DORA got my business and I ordered on 11/6.

Worth the road trip. I have not seen a photo of the ICAP that really is able to give you the full effect of sitting in one with. The only GT I test drove was torch red with ICAP. I kinda prefer the toned down redfire ext with the red int because of the contrast effect with the charcoal trim.

Wife wanted to go with legend lime with red int. I said I wasn't riding around in a X-mas tree.

Dennis - the redfire with ICAP is OUTSTANDING!!!!

I test drove a GT in that combo last night and absolutely loved it. This GT had been at the dealer on Sat but with a SOLD sign on it but the deal fell through and so it was available to drive last night.

What a gorgeous color combo. You will NOT be disappointed!!
