I'll guess Mineral Grey or Sonic Blue since they were both one year only colors. Otherwise, Legend Lime would get my vote since it's both striking and unusual for this era. Black will be a dime a dozen...

If anything sonic blue and/or satin silver, since this is the only year they were made. But TBO, I don't think a color is going to make it worth more. I think a GT w/ spoiler delete will be one of the most rare versions of this car : )

Usually Red is the most popular color. Not sure if it will result in a higher resale tough. In the end, it all comes down to what someone wants and what they are willing to pay for. B)

You guys are too much.
In three years you'll be lucky to get 50 cents on the dollar, and that is if you got the x plan.

You could try putting the car up on blocks covered with shrink-wrap and waiting 40 years ![04](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/04.gif)
Me? I'd rather have fun driving it and then seeing what Ford has for new Mustangs down the road.

The question was which will be worth more down the road. I don't think he asked which will be worth more than what was originally paid for the car. Nobody said anything about the car appreciating.
Why do people have to make smart comments when others post questions here. Either contribute something or just ignore it.
They have a valid question, probably the most rare combination (color, options, etc.) will result in a car that is worth more than other 05s down the road. I'm not saying that the car will be worth 40K in 10 years, just that the most rare combination will be worth more than a more common combination.

Rarity doesn't always equate to higher value. A rule of thumb....if it wasn't a popular color when new, it isn't likely to command a premium later....and it will generally be of interest to a smaller group of possible buyers than a more popular colored car in the future as well. Special order paints (if available) might be an exception. A one of a kind special interior package would probably offer more in terms of future worth, that an exterior color alone.

ok here is my take...for whatever it's worth,
The Windveil Blue will be worth more since it is a throwback color from the 67 Stang. The Purple...er i mean sonic blue will definetely be worth the least. Legend Lime is a solid color that grows on you. Everyone who has had a negative opinion on this color has changed their view. Seems it is growing on them.

Contrary to your oblivious observation and inflated contribution, this is neither a church encounter, a pep rally, or Fantasy Land. Don't expect to be french kissed every time you open your mouth.
