Climate and windsheild question
I've got an 07. Does anyone have issues with the fan speeds? It seems like when I have it set to the 1 setting, it hardly blows. I mean I can feel it, it just seems really weak, especially with the ac on. Other than that it works great.
also, my winsheild develops condensation on the outside at the bottom middle in 2 spots. Usually early morning or at night. Always with the ac on.

I don't know about the fan speed, but setting 1 is usually pretty weak in any car. The condensation thing is normal. I get it in any AC equipped car if the conditions are right.
yep, #1 setting on the fan is barely on in my car, and I like it that way . . . plenty of higher settings available if I want it to blow harder
I get those condensation spots also, I think it is the nature of cold air blowing into warmer humid air . . . it is a bit annoying, the only way I know to stop it is to turn up the temperature a little

A little late to the thread but I have an '07 as well and #1 is indeed weak. In fact all my cars are weak at the lowest fan speed. I prefer it that way anyway as you can always adjust to whatever you like if you need more. Condensation issues are actually not bad with my Ford. I've had German cars (911 and a Z3) in the past that were way worse. My GM rides are are about the same as the Mustang, pretty decent in most instances.
'06 reportin' in, weak fan setting number 1 here too... both the original before I pulled it and swapped it for the current new one. It's just that kind of slow. And yes, condensate as described, it happens, lil' cold air gettin' past the door and up into the defrost, nothin' to really worry about.
