Cheap mods... Let's see...

Brilliant Silver Paint on the Radio/HVAC trim, window switch trim panels and speaker rings. 2 cans of paint $10.

Chrome door lock ***** $0.

White stitching for my leather wrapped wheel $3 plus my own labor.

Take-off 2010 Leather seat covers front and back only $295 and my own labor vs. cost as factory option or aftermarket new.

Temperature/Compass Auto Dim Rearview mirror used $30 vs expensive cost of factory option or aftermarket new.

Blue LED ambient interior lighting $40 plus my own labor. Consisting of two underdash pods, 1 pack of 4 blue individual LED's for the rear of the console, cupholder and armrest compartment, two small LED strips for the door map pockets. All that vs. cost of factory option.

steeda used to sell urethane shifter bushings, was the best $23 I ever spent modding my car (after the money I put towards my intake and tune). It really tightened up the shifter, got rid of all the rubber slop and made quick shifts so much easier. Can't seem to find them on their website anymore, but I'm sure you can get them somewhere else.

speaking of shifters/cheep m,ods-

I got a 09 new takeoff shifter from ebay for 15 bucks- huge improvement over th 06 shifter...the 06 had a kinda bent rod in a rubber lined bushing, where the 09 has a heavy one piece offset hub- a little shorter throw, but immensely stiffer than the rubbery 06 version was.

I great cheap mod is to take a black business sock and cut the toe out. Fold it in on itself and slide it over you visor. It will cover the ugly airbag stick and you can slide things inside it, like your phone.

Umm, yeah... I prefer just removing the sticker as opposed to covering it w/ one of my dirty socks.
