I don't remember any of our cars where the lights came on when you unlocked it with the fob either
That's normal. You can disable it.

All-blue might be more expensive due to the compounds used for the LEDs, which is why it might be a teal color. It's all about cost-cutting!

As for the shifter, the way Kevin described it, seemed like the 05-06 shifters felt more numb. On my Job 1 shifter, I know exactly when it went into gear. You can feel 2 "notches" before it goes into place. My only complaint is that it feels like I am literally rowing oars while shifting, and the throttle lag makes it hard (sometimes) to do a 1-2 upshift since it feels like I am trying to force it into place. The RPMs don't drop down fast enough for a better rev match. I never tried out the 05-06 shifters, so I can't make a fair comparison.

LED's cost about $.001 each. I have no issues shifting the car at all, I spin 2nd for about 30' and get a nice little squeak hitting third I actually like the throttle hang, I just adjusted the way I pedal the throttle slightly during the shift. If I want to shift through without spinning the tires its very smooth with a nice surge, my passenger hardly comes forward at all through the shifts and you can keep the nose jacked up the whole time.

Congrats Kevin! You really should have a talk with your salesman about all that stuff he didn't tell you about.

Blue LEDs cost more than normal LEDs. So if LEDs cost $0.001, then the blue LEDs cost $0.005.

Well my salesperson needs to pay bills so he sells mostly used cars now. He figures the Mustang nuts will already know what they need to know about them. I had to tell him about the darn headlights, after selling a few dozen this year he didn't even notice them untill I got mine...

No complaints about the DBW system here. I HAVE noticed when shifting from 2nd to 3rd that there's a brief hesitation/almost negligible drop (split second or so) in RPMs while accelerating just before dumping it into 3rd though. Almost like a faint hiccup in the system.

Yep, it seems like the DBW isn't too bad as one gets used to it. I guess I won't have to get a tune after all!
