I loved it when my black 85 GT was clean *drools* my 07 GT will be in black.

 

My problem with white cars is that here in New Mexico they are EVERYWHERE!!!! Trucks, vans, SUVs, cars, etc. You name it, and there will be a dozen white ones on the road.

Of course, that COULD have something to do with the thermal load we get here (better solar power than Phoenix AZ due to the elevation!) and the fine dust (Its a REAL female dog to keep a black car clean with this type of dust in the air!).

Personally, I LOVE the 05 in black! It is just bad hiney! But I had to order a lighter colored car due to the sun. No way would it be white. I finally decided on Torch Red. Nice and bright. Lots of color. But not nearly as hard to keep clean as black.

 

Living in West Texas, there is no weather comfort. It's either HOT or COLD. With that being said, both my 05 and 66 are black with black interiors. All I can say is, IT'S WORTH THE PAIN TO LOOK BADOUT!!

 

Of course, I should also add that I bought a black saxophone too, so I guess I'm just color biased. Is that wrong?

 

Just be glad you have a wood reed in that black sax! I could see you go to play in the band while out in the hot sun and permanently weld your lips to the mouth piece.... Ouch!

 

White used to be the number one color for cars, it is now silver, with white running second and black running third.

I had a White 99 GT, I guess I fall into the "girls own white Mustangs", but I sold it to a 19 yr old GUY, who wanted a white one.

I love my black 05... I am constantly wiping hand prints, and spots off her, but, its a labor of love, thats for sure! I will be spending some cash, and a lot of time keeping her looking her best. But, goddess help me, she is one fine looking peice of machinery when she is clean!

 

One of the reasons I chose black was that it is the only color available
where the mirrors match the body.

Black may be a pain to keep clean, but when it is clean, oooh boy. There is nothing meaner than a black car with dark tint.

 

Black is beautiful but so is white. THey can both be "bad". Go with what makes your day, not somebody else. If you want to ride and enjoy, get the white, if you want to spend all day cleaning, go with black. Like I said, white can be bad.

 

My black 2002 was no tougher to keep clean than my torch red 2005. But, that being said, I sometimes regret that I didn't get the white with blue shelby stripes. I think that is the only car on which the stripes look cool.

 

ya im glad im gettin black too. my last stang was white and i loved it. white looks pretty sharp, but everytime i saw a black stang i knew thats what i realy wanted.
