I'm considering changing the color of my new baby because of the whole Tungsten / lavender / pink whatever issue.

My questions is since I already have been serialized and my order is scheduled to be built week of Sept 5, can I change the color of my car without affecting my VIN or build date?

Or will I have to cancel and reorder?

 

I'm not sure, but I think once you are serialized you can't change your order. Sept. 5th build week here also.

 

Rule of thumb for changes is 10 working days before schedule week. You can ask your dealer on Monday to try but odds not good.

 

Thanks for the headsup, I'll give them a call Monday, if it's a no go I'll learn to love the color anyway
