three words, Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful
Whoever drew that should be hired by FMC, its incredible

I think my heart skipped a beat when i saw that pic!

If that is the direction Cervini is heading, it just might take them out of the Ricer category!!
That better not be just a chop too, what a tease that would be!!!

Also, i hear its pretty difficult to make the side exhaust due to the positioning of the mufflers or something like that. I know roush is having problems.

If its so hard to make a side exhaust on the new 05 platform then how come there was a side exhaust on the GTR????

Yeah I pretty much said to heck with stock '05 Mustangs. The way to go is the aftermarket. Esspecially seeing as how the new Mustangs are now the official car of SEMA and Ford is the Official brand because of the Mustang. I'm expecting great things to come out of SEMA this year.

The GTR is able to use side exhaust because of a different floor pan, The GTR only keeps 80% of the prduction body parts.

Does the GTR even have mufflers. Im pretty sure not. Also, look at the GTR! They had to cut a section of the rear quarter panel out to put pipes there!

They had to curve the pipes up where the rear passenger's feet would be, then out the side of the body.

you'er forgettign that the GT-R has a hardcore suspention drop on it. Thats the reasron why the pipes are so high.

No part on the GT-R will really be on the Mustangs, sept for the rear lights (fromt he concept cars) and the front facia. Everything else wouldn't be street leagel anywhere's in Canada and the US. That's a fact. You will see renditions of them but not the actual design.

Sorry Matt even the spoiler. Lets not forget. On a race car such as the GT-R it is functional. On a street car it is just riced out dead weight. Ford wouldn't do that because it would tick everyone off royally, sept for 'em ricers.

I'm curious as to how much this will cost! It looks like you will have to buy and have installed new wheels, front grill, lights, spoiler, hood, and the stripes as well. I'm sure we will see this car pop up all over the place though. I don't think I would copy the movie car's exact colors though.

Not to be confrontational, but can you explain to me how the spoiler magically becomes dead weight and non-functional just by putting it on a street car? It either produces downforce (functional) or doesn't (dead weight), yes? Now, you could argue whether the additional downforce gained on a vehicle travelling at highway speeds is worth the extra drag, but I don't think it approaches the dead weight point.

$2K +/- would be a my guess plus another $1K for the paint and body work. I once customized a GT with a Razzi body kit and spent close to that amount without the side exhaust.
