CDC Classic + Steeda Spring = How much less ground clearance?

OK, I have the CDC Classic Chin Spoiler on my '08 GT and was curious if I installed some Steeda Springs or Roush Springs, how much lower my front chin would be. I know the Steeda's lower the car by about 1" front and 1.25" rear, but does that translate to 1" less ground clearance up front, or something different. Just curious if anyone had measured this for before and after.

Since the car is 'jacked up' in the back, then what you'll find is that the overall car will drop will make the car 'flatter' and more even, not tilted forward. Therefore the spoiler will drop about .825 an inch or something like that. While it'll still be lower, and more prone to driveway/exit strikes, it isn't going to drop lower than 1" from where it is.

Thanks houtex, that's what I was kind of wondering, but wasn't really sure. Thanks for the confirmation!

I have the steeda springs with the classic chin, it dropped the front .75" in the front. no problems really, just have to be careful on really steep hills & driveways and parking lots with the bump stops

Thanks Maverick. I have a steep driveway that currently gives me issues and I was trying to gauge how much more of an issue I am going to have if I install some lowering springs. It sounds like it will be around 3/4 of an inch, so I'll use this as my estimate when looking at option for this driveway.

Hm. I wouldn't have thought a 1" front, 1.25" rear drop woulda done that. Interesting.
