Anyway, Mr. Shelby is a young 82 years old now and seems like quite a nice guy. He still seems to be very proud of the Stang as I guess he should be!

Used to drive by through there all the time
Yea... this customer came in on Tuesday with a Shelby picture that he had Carroll Shelby sign. He's a worker at AAI and was telling us about him building the new Shelby. Couldn't get much outta him... he was a lil coo-coo. He wanted to get it framed... he about crapped himself when he found out how much custom framing is.

It'll be interesting to see how solid the vert is with that much power under the hood. I know my '97 vert was pretty twisty with the 305hp motor in it. I'm sure this one is more solid.

I like that other pic of just the car, but what's up with the front clip in front of the front wheels? It's like it's got mud flaps in front of the wheels the way that "tab" sticks down. :notnice:
Can anyone enlarge either of those two pics at all? It's hard to see the cars in much detail and I have no tools to do it with here at work.

I'm not one for googlin' over celebs or what not but........there are two people who'd i love to meet. I have to personally give thanks to both individuals.
One of course being Mr. Carroll Shelby. He has given me a chance to own an '07 Shelby by setting aside differences with Ford and doing this great car. Hats off to him and i hope to be able to shake his hand
The other individual goes by the name Mark Messier. He ended a lifetime of hockey sorrow for bringing a Stanley Cup Championship to my Beloved NY Rangers (I'm teary eyed as i write this...lol). I get goose bumps every time i watch any of those tapes from the playoffs. Thanks, and hats off to you too Mr. Messier, you're my hockey hero.
