Has anybody else noticed on the inboard seat mount that there is no trim, just a flap of carpet?

Speaking of seat 'flaps' - on my first drive Monday night in my new 05 the driver's outside seat trim piece that contains the elec seat and lumbar controls came unsnapped and was 'flapping' back and forth until I snapped it back into place. And No - I'm NOT that heavy!!

I noticed this as well - probably a cost cutting measure.

I hear you. I would have paid the extra $1.00 for a trim cover.

I was installing the crap-tacular Ford rubber mats the other night (they were promptly returned) and noticed the carpet was coming out from the door sill trim. I pushed it back under, but it seems like it will keep happening.
