Couldnt get the car to start on Saturday.
You could hear the click at the panel so I rulled out
a fuse. Couldnt fix it so I called the dealership.
They sent a flatbed wrecker and two days later she
is fixed. The starter relay died. In troubleshooting it they
swapped my Horn relay with the starter and it started right up.
They just didnt have the part.
So they ordered another relay but my point here is that if you ever
depress your clutch and you get nothing then you dont have to be
stranded like me. Just whip out your car's manual and find the starter relay
and the horn relay. Swap them and your good to go. That can get you
to a dealership and you can avoid a wrecker.
It was all covered under warrantee but I would have rather driven it than tow it.
Seeing her on a wrecker is heartbreaking plus they always damage your car in some way. In my case (even with a flatbed) he cranked down to hard on the
line and the car lowered the front onto the front tie chain and scratched the lower front bumper. You have to get your eyes 12" off the ground to see it but.....
