Can anyone out there recommend a good source for financing my mustang gt. It is scheduled for arrival at the dealership in mid February and I would like to find the lowest rate possible. Thanks for the help.

Shop your local credit unions, usually they are the best especially if you have excellent credit.

I shopped eLoan.com first, then went to my local bank (where we do most of our bank and loan business), and to the dealer selling to us. We are playing the lowest rates against each other to keep 'em coming down. We've been pretty successful so far. The first quote was 9% - OUCH!!

We sell them on our credit score, then let them know they have competition. It's working. Still don't know who we'll sign on the dotted line with, but at least we have good options and locked-in rates we're comfortable with.

If you can get in to USAA, it's worth a look. You can talk them down real easily. Nice auto insurance rates and service too.

USAA - 4.8934

That was their way of beating a 4.9 that I found elsewhere.
