I have State Farm, quoted monthly:
For tax purposes, are you still living at home? Are you on a policy under your parents, and they claim you as a dependent? If so, wait until you get pushed out from under their umbrella.

Ex: My 2004 Jeep Wrangler w/ All-State
w/ parents - $950 a year, full coverage
on my own - $1800 a year, same coverage

Does anyone else here live in Philly
If you do what are your insurance rates?

$3000.00 a year for someone my age at 42 and my wife at 36 with clean record seems high.

Holy poo..I wasn't even paying that much when I had my 98 Mustang GT at 23 years old. I got quoted $1577 a year on a 06 GT, only about $200 more then my SVT Focus now.

$3000.00 a year
That is a qoute for a 1999 blazer Liability only and a 2006 GT full coverage.

I always felt that Drivers in Philly were getting hosed, I guess I was right.
