Car cover recommendations sought

My upcoming GT is going to be my daily driver. However, with my job, my car ends up spending several days at a time in an open-air parking lot. Therefore, I'm interested in getting a good, sturdy cover for it. From talking with a co-worker, I know that I'll need a properly-fitted cover in order to keep the cover from marring the finish. I also want a cover that will store away nicely in a bag in the trunk when I don't need it.

So, fellow Mustang-ites, do you have any good recommendation for covers?

Thank you in advance for your thoughts and suggestions.

I have the Ford Accessories Noah car cover, thats made for the Mustang. Very durable, and its one of the best around. You should Ask KC, TMS's parts guy. He has a special cover with the TMS logo on it. I do believe its the same one I got. Its very good, and the moisture can get out without leaving water under it. Send him a PM throught the parts section of the site.

what happens to the antenna if you use a cover, does it have nice hole for the antenna to fit through? I used to have a 2002 transam, it had a motorized antenna so it was never an issue. I used a noah cover at the time and its a really good cover.

I purchased a Ford noah cover from KC. I am totally pleased with the cover and Kevin's service as well. The price was very good, and he was nice enough to forward along a couple of posters and a 2007 Mustang exterior color brochure (something my dealer does not even have).

I recommend purchasing from him. Here's his address:

Ditto here..............got the one from KC plus a few extras. I had to make the small hole for the antenna but comes with little self stick iron on patches to put around the hole so it doesn't spread.

Thanks for the info. Kev - I tried to send you a PM about the cover. I'll email for a hotsheet when I get home next week.

I'm hoping to pick up the cover before I take delivery of my car.

You can unscrew the antenna. That's what I do when I cover mine in the garage for winter.

IMPORTANT!!!

If you cover your car out in the open where it can get a bit windy INSURE the car is clean with no dirt on the paint. If you have any dirt, regardless how good the cover, you can, and most likely, will mare the finish since the dirt along with the cover rubbing the paint will act like sandpaper...

I have the Noah from Covercraft. A Noah is a Noah regardless where you purchase it from so shop around for the best price. Basically Noah is a brand and they make covers and sell them to many vendors, some they silk screen companies names, or in Ford's case "Ford" or "Mustang" so don't purchase just because where you get it from, for example Ford, but rather purchase based on price...

I have the car cover from Kevin! It's great. At first I thought "this sucker doesn't have padding", but it's VERY smooth on the inside. When I take the cover off... I fold it once into the middle on both sides (so the the 2 parts which are normal on the ground are going down the middle of the car) and then I fold it over again.. this prevents the outside from ever touching the inside.... And roll it up from the back to the front. The one I ordered even came with a storage bag. But I very rarely use it, as I just throw it into the trunk which is super clean

If it hasn't rained and there's just dust from driving I use the California duster (works great).

Big +1. You can't go wrong with these guys. And a couple different choices to fit how you store your car.
