Does anyone know if an alarm system comes with the securilock package at the Ford assembly plant or is an alarm something that is installed by the dealer?

seems like a poor choice for a security system. After all, it's still in the car when ya lock it up, now the thieves got your car, and your gun.

Yes I have a Sig Sauer Alarm also but it can be a rather deadly alarm, prefer an audible on for a car.

I have the Ford alarm system. Locked up the car and went in a store and returned in about half an hour. All H was going on. alarm sounding lights flashing and the whole works. My dog set it off. Never turn it on with your dog in the car. LOL
