I think I've decided on Windveil blue with the parchment interior but I will need to see all the colors I'm interested in personally. But I can't make up my mind on coupe or vert. I hope it looks good with the top down some verts don't i.e Mini Cooper, PT Cruiser and others. The current Stangs and BMW 3 series look good topless. I live in Texas so cold is no problem but do verts hold in the A/C? Leather seats are also on my list. Though I worry about dirt with the light parchment interior. My plan is coupe or vert till 08 then check out SE's and SVT's. So should I go topless.

If you can use your vert at least 40% of the time, then a vert is worth it. If you use it less than 40% then I don't think $5k more for something you won't use is worth it to me. I live in Florida so in the dead of winter, I'm still using mine. Someone say up north or Northwest (Seattle) probably won't get to use is as much as they want. Now if you do the top down, heater on full blast with the windows up senario..........

I have three cars and they are all Verts. Of course, in Southern California we've no shortage of Vert weather. After so many years on a Harley, a Vert just seemed like the obvious choice.

It is supposed to be a great vert as the platform was designed especially for it.
However, the vert will be about a second slower than the coupe in the 1/4 mile because of added weight.

Great color choice. That's my favorite, but I want to see one first.
Yes, verts are fine for holding AC in, and they even keep out the rain.
Regardless of where you live, I think verts are great. On those days when you drop the top, there's nothing better. And since I am not a 1/4 mile guy, I could care less if they're slower than a coupe. And I doubt they'll be a second slower.
Get the vert. You'll never regret it.

I live in New Jersey and I always had verts! I use it with the top down April through october. My best memories are of my friend charlie, who had a 68 mustang vert, And me in my 65 mustang vert. Both with tops down, driving around my high school before classes, in mid january having snow ball fights!.... Geez you don't have to live in LA or florida to have top down fun!
