Screwed Again ! How come the Canadian price is $1000 higher and the American price is only about $235 or so dollars more? Are you happy with such a lopsided increase.? Wake-up Canada!!!!!!!

$1000 or so is a small price to pay for all the awesome upgrades like higher engine outputs, larger interior etc. plus you get ABS and traction control at no extra cost, so if all they did is raise the price by $1000 or so im not going to complain.

whoa just got off ford.ca and built an '04 mustang and just added on $1000 extra, turns out that for a loaded '05 GT with tax and everything it gonna cost $42,607 by my calculations anyways................. :bang:

Canadian prices compared to dollar power, is something you have no concept over.
1000 dollar increase over the car (which included the 1000 destination/delivery compared to the lesser US price) is not BAD at all. Its less than a 2% increase in price.
Its not a huge increase, its actually just under 1000 bucks...we rounded up.
+ we do not have packages like Deluxe/Premium.

So true. We just get a regular GT that we can fully load out with any option we feel like adding. heck if you are willing to pay for something even if it doesn't come on the car Ford will install it.
Karrnutt. Learn something about pricing in both Canada and the US. Learn what makes them different and such, because you obviously haven't got a clue about any of it.

Dan,
think about it this way,
If you bought an '04 and wanted to get 300HP out of it you would have to spend $1000, if not more to get that additional 40 HP

Only other thing I was saying is that just because the base price is $1000 more, doesn't mean the final price is (especially for me) because of the extra options available for the 05 which many will order.
