Update - flashed with the canned 87 octane tune on Xcal Strategy Flash. Slight improvement in lag, can chirp off the line a bit. NOT a HUGE change though. Next tank of gas will be 93 octane. I'll try the canned 93 tune. If that doesn't impress me, Bama tune is in my future. Oh , and I forgot mention - I'm on 18" BFG KDWS - don't know the specs. Their the ones that came with the fanblades from Ford. Only 5000 miles on them, so lots of grip.

Just so it's clear - my goal is not to smoke 'em regularly. I just want to maximize low-end torque. The way I figure, the easier it is to smoke 'em (all other conditions being equal), the more torque I have.
