Can anyone answer this in a hurry???

I am selling my rims and just wondering if stock 05 GT wheels will fit an 04 V6? I have someone that wants them but don't want him to buy them and not fit.

Thanks!

yeah they should. i've seen plenty of 94-98's running around with 05+ GT wheels. the 17" bullitts and the optional wheel (2005 GT wheels). i also i used to see a 99-04 GT with the optional GT wheels on it (the ones with the split spoke look).

From what I finally found it looks like they would but they'd need spacers.

Moved to the 2005-2009 forum and the short answer is Yes, they can with longer studs and spacers.

I had my 06 rims and tires on my 2k for months no spacers. The front tires did rub slightly during a full turn. We just didn't turn the steering wheel all the way.

I bought an 01 last month with S197 wheels . . . . . check out my tread below . . . .. . it works but the car looks funny (backspacing is off by .5inch) and the front wheels do rub . . .. eventually I just bought a set of 01 sized wheels.
