There's been alot of various rumors about delays lately :bang: , but i cant tell if the V6 with manual transmission is a rumor or truth. So, the million dollar question is....Can anyone from AAI, or any other credible source, confirm that there have/havent been any V6's with manual transmissions produced?

thanks for the help

The V6 manual is delayed,

MustangJohn and others from AAI have commented about this a few times.

IIRC, V6 MTX production will start sometime in November.

so, i guess that means that i shouldnt expect a VIN or build date, or anything like that, until they announce when the production will start for the V6 manual?

OSU:

I've had a V6 manual on order since they took the initial orders.

I have a VIN but nothing else except "temporary delay".

IIRC the temp delay on the v-6 w/man trans is until Nov 29th. I think there might have been a topic on it a couple months ago.

From: Beautiful New Hampshire!!!
Sorry for the bad news, but I've heard that the V6 manuals will not start production again until January (Sorry, Elanorsmine and OSUstangfan) and as of rt now, we may be experiencing some delays in overall Mustang production b/c of some issues in bodyshop(no idea what the issues are). Its not a STOP PRODUCTION!! type issue, but we're not ramping up as quickly as we should be. Mazdas and Mustangs are about at a 1:1 ratio rt now and may dip some soon. Again, Sorry folks.

P.S. AAI and all other ford plants will be closed for approx. 2 weks in Dec. for the holidays.
