If anything, accuse the GTO of being a Grand Prix.

Of course, I seem to be one of the few around here that can look past the mundane exterior and to its much more redeeming qualities.

Thats probably why I liked the GTO's styling when it first came out in concept photos and such, I currently own an '02 Grand Prix, I think the new GP's are ugly.

I agree, the new GP don't look as good as the old ones. The look of the new GTO should have been the new GP.

The biggest thing that redeems the GTO is the fact that it's not American built or designed. I don't know why GM doesn't just bring the whole Holden brand over here .. but I'll keep myself quiet on that since it would only hurt Ford's sales. Ford should bring over the Falcon while they're at it

You hit it on the head. Holden and Ford Australia seem to build much more exciting cars than they do here. I wish they would bring the Falcon over and have the Ute's come over as the El Camino and Ranchero again.

The new GP is about the ugliest thing there is on four wheels. I don't know why people keep saying the GTO looks like a Cavalier. If you actually look at them side by side, there is no resemblance at all. You need to look at a GTO because photos just don't make the car look right. Its much longer and lower than a Cavalier. Even pictures I've taken of my own, it looks dull in the photos. Yes, the nose is like other Pontiac's, but that is their trade mark.

Very similar, but we all know the GTO is just a Holden Monaro in Pontiac guise.

I think Pontiac would have been better off making the current GTO the new Grand Prix and making a completely new from the ground up GTO.

I wasnt going to say anything , but good lord they have such a HUGE hardon for the new 300C, I mean I like the car and its cool , but its not the sports demon they make it out to be. And the 500 and Freestyle look better than any of the other Chrysler owait Mercedes products coming out now besides the 300C.

Isn't the Freestyle a minivan? It looks like one at least.

The Freestyle is a wagon. You know, those things American culture deserted for the much less safe, gas-guzzling SUVs.
