So I called VOPC

Gave them all the info -- status: Shipped by convoy.

Now Ford customer service tells me the same and has an arrival date of 1/30.
They also told me the name of the trucking company which is Halloway trucking co.

Did a search and can only find a co. with that name in KY. Called them and they said they don't do biz with ford.

Can anyone shed some light on this status?

The car will arrive when it arrives. Nothing you do will get it there faster. Just wait patiently, you'll save yourself a lot of grief.

Halloway is not UPS or FedEx, you won't be able to track where your car is on a website or by calling.

Convoy carrier usually just means that it has left the factory and is on its way to the railyard in Ohio.

Take the ETA with a grain of salt. For awhile people were getting their vehicles early. Since the holidays and the arrival of bad weather many people are getting them late.

My first ETA was 12/25 then 12/28 then 12/29 then 1/3 then 1/10 then 1/17. I have given up on what customer service tells me as far as ETA.

And I tought I was overboard when it comes to checking the status of my car.

My estimated arrival date is 1/30 also. All we can do now is sit back and wait. ...and maybe pray for some good weather along the way.

I'll just be happy to get confirmation that my car will actually get built. Just knowing that would put my mind completely at ease.
