EDIT: Apparently I can't spell "sort"



GM of my dealer called today.

My car is in Mira Loma, in the rail yard...at the 15 and 60. (about 1.5 hours away).

It has been there since friday...but the shipping companys will not ship it because of the rain...too dangerous. For those of you unaware...God decided to start the next flood right here in SoCal.

The rain is supposed to clear by Wednesday, and the GM said it will be here by friday.

So it looks like I will finally have my car....this weekend. sigh. So close...yet so far.

Well, guess I better be going to church more (see sig for arrival date).

 

Look at it this way, there's supposed to be a nice break in the weather later this week, all the more time to enjoy the new ride.

 

You and the pony both cooped up all this time, San Clemente better watch out for a weekend stampede!

 

BUMMER!!!! Hopefully you get it in time to meet up with us on Friday at Ruby's. Bad news rain blows, good news it brought 9' of actuall REAL snow to our local mountains, now I just need a truck to get to it to snowboard, or I guess I can go buy some new chains.

Youll be the third Black GT in our little club... I would go to the dealership, make sure all your financing is inline, so when it arrives, you get to walk in, get your keys, let them wash it, and take off!!!

Ya, I may do that. work has been slow so I should be able to do that. I may call in sick friday...cough cough....I want to have my mufflers on in time for friday night.

For some reason, my dealer didn't want to talk numbers or anything untill the new car got here. Maybe its because I have a trade in, I dunno. But he did tell me I am for sure getting xplan. So I just gotta wait. If it gets here AFTER friday...I am gonna be hating life. there is no way it would take more than a day to get here. So they could even ship it thuirsday morning...and it would still get here in time.


ARRRRG. This is going to be the longest week of my life. And with the Rain...it makes going out to do stuff hard.

 

My dealer did the same thing even thought they gave me Xplan, for some reason they wouldnt do the paperwork before the car got there.

 

Can someone give me the details about meeting at Rubys? Which one and when?
I'm in Glendale and would like to see other 05's. Here is a pic of mine!

congrats. Weather is looking good right now, with luck it went out this morning or tomorrow.

If I can pull 8 hours sick time outta a hat, I'm planning on fridays meet, but I'm thinking I may be about 1 hour short of 8. I really hate my work schedule. Hopefully if not this week, I'll be able to make another.

Oh saw a redfire 05 the other day in my area, second 05 I've seen on the road to date other than my own.
