Buying a New Stang!
#1
I just got approved for a loan to buy the new Mustang from my Insurance company. $25000 Now I just have to find out how much you guys are paying for them so I can haggle my dealer down to a good price. So, what are these cars selling for??
Here are my specs and here is the sticker my dealer gave me but I havent commited to buying yet.
GT Deluxe
Shaker 500
Anti Theft
Auto Trans
Sticker 26910
This is the price he gave if I ordered the car custom built through them.

Hmmm...depends on where you are. You might want to go download the price list from the timeline and see how much the invoice w/holdback price is for the options you want. You then know the margin and can play in it accordingly. I'm getting xplan, which is right around (or just above) invoice. Many are getting $500 above invoice (w/holdback in both cases).
If you're newly out of college, search on here for the ford website where you might be eligible for a discounted rate.

invoice for your car is about $24k, alot of us have $500 ordered at $500 over invoice. That would bring the total to about $24,500, and if ya want to spend $30 you could sign up for American Quarter Horse Association to receive a $500 incentive if your delivery is more than 30 days away. So, you could get invoice if you're lucky.
good luck
ps- check out the pricing stickey, has alot of good info.
