Is it common to get a build week and then have it moved closer? I have heard of this happening to a few people, but I was wondering if it was common or rare.

 

I think they probably only schedule at 80-90% of their capacity for the week and if they get done early they pull orders from the next week. They do this so if the line goes down or some kind of holdup happens they don't go behind schedule. On the other hand if they get behind schedule they push the orders back.

 

I started at 4/4 got moved to 4/11, then 4/18, and last I checked I was back to 4/11. I am scared to call again. I am afraid they might move it again.

Seems there are less and less of them being pushed back as time has gone on. You should be fine.

 

I got lucky, mine moved from 4/4 to 3/28. It was about time something good happened.

 

I got moved foward from 4/04/2005 to 3/28/2005.

 

Mine was bumped up a week from 2/28 to 2/21. From looking at all the dates, I'm guessing they had a little room to slide in a few more on the last day of my 2/21 build week. Funny thing is, even though my build week was 2/21, the car wasn't built until the next week, 2/28, which was my original build week. Car was started on Friday and finished on Monday. Can't get much worse than that for build days.
