I've finally got my ducks in a row and am ready to buy a new '05 GT. Financing is set and I do not have a trade in.

Color is not important but I do want a 5 speed. Does ANYone know of one for sale within a day's drive (~250 miles or so) of Northwestern Ohio?

Preferred colors are Screaming Yellow/Torch Red/Black and Legend Lime but will consider all. It just has to be a 5 speed. IUP is not required.

Help? Anyone?

I'm not sure where Lima Ohio is, but I would recommend you try Ricart Ford in Columbus Ohio. Just Google Ricart Ford and go straight to there web site. Good luck.

I've seen some on the lots but they don't last long.

If you would consider ordering I highly recommend Eastgate Ford
in Beavercreek. My GT came ahead of schedule, they estimated
3 months and it came in under 6 weeks.

Everything went really smooth. Picked up the car with 3 miles on it.

XtangGT - how did you locate them? I haven't had any luck using the regular dealer locator system off of the Ford Partner site.

Thanks for what you've found so far. Any more that you know of?

I use a mix of couple of sites.

One the www.ford.com site.
When you build your own mustang the zip you put in will be the only state you can
look from there after. But if you want to look in another state you have to start
from begining with one of their zips.

To get a city name to start from I go here.
http://www.sitesatlas.com/Maps/Maps/OH1.htm

Next you need the zip of that city so I go to
www.whitepages.com
there you can locate the zip by putting in the city and state.

Then start with largest and work from there.

Anyone else know of '05's with manual transmissions in northeastern Indiana, southern Michigan or northern Kentucky?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

You can try calling places in Toledo. When I went to order mine at Brondes, they had two on the lot that did not show in their inventory. The saleman also said the dealers are hidding them, don't remember how, so other dealers can't take them. Maybe BS, but they did have two that Ford's site didn't show.

I'll try that - great idea. I've searched the websites but no luck so far. Even ones that showed they had a GT were old news.

Yea, I have a feeling a lot of dealerships are leaving their GTs unadvertised. Try calling the dealerships near you and work your way out from there.
