Break in period

Ponyboy66 you must not be familar with the Hemi motor. You must use the oil specified. At crusing speeds half the cylinder shut off. The motor becomes a 4 cylinder. The wrong oil the wrong resistance and the computer is no longer effective. Wrong weight oil messes up how it operates. Right weight oil and the engine runs perfect. I have not experienced this personally but the 300C has a web page like this and many have commented on it.

Secondly, breaking in the engine has nothing to do with the speed of the car, so you don't need to take it up to 120. Just make sure that you get the engine itself to run everywhere in the RPM range, from idle to redline, and do it under varying loads as well.
