If you don't like people talking about their mods, you're in the wrong place... Half of what this site is, is Mustangers talking to other Mustangers about mods. If not mods, tech issues. When never of the beforementioned, talking about other car related topics. But all in all, if you don't want to hear about mods, I suggest you go to the pokemon forums and talk about your great time with your pikachu doll late night.

EDIT: Just kind of mind boggeling that you are on a car forums and you expect not to read about mods... Kind of an oxymoron there...




I somewhat agree that the S197 shouldn't be used as a tribute for the Mach or Boss, but, they still look cool so who cares?

 

yeah v6 to mach 1 is kinda bad.
but it looks nice.

Why do a tribute? Why make a v6 a great looking car? Why have a sig?

All I am saying yes you can make any car you have made out to whatever you want with your mods tribute or clone or whatever. "Because you can". I am just saying you are making a wantabee car that doesn’t come close to the originals looks or performance of a Mach/Boss with the S197 style V-6 or GT for that matter. I asked if anyone felt the same. If you don’t feel the same then you a entitled to your opinion. And please let’s hear it. But telling someone to get the F@@K out! Because someone has an opinion that you don’t like stoops you to the same level in which you are P***ed about.

 

AMEN! I thought we were all car enthusiasts here not haters because someones car isn't what YOU think it should be.

 

#1 - my post wasn't intended towards you, or any one particular for that matter. Actually, I said the thread started out half decent.

#2 - I didn't tell anyone to get out, Mr.gif says that some people need to STFU.

#3 - I'm not p***ed about anyone's opinion - just irritated w/ pointless bashing of people's cars.

I don't know who the earlier sig comment was referring to... but whoever the noob was who said it - there was a thread here a while ago about everyone putting their mods in their sigs so that everyone knew what everyone had so that we could ask each other questions and help each other out. In fact, that has happened quite a bit.

 

I just want to say 05GT's avatar creeps me out like that sour skittles comercial I've seen on TV lately - very disturbing.

Sorry i offended anyone. The topic was about mach1 .There is no clone of a 05-08 mach since ford didnt built one. There is a mach1 registry owners club, and this car was built as a concept. It has been shown,and won in its class.
I showed this car to let members know what was designed for Ford. Sorry if some didnt like it. Thanks to the others that did.
P.S. Remind me not to post pics, so it doesnt give people heart attacks ******* my car! LOL

Lance in the V6 turbo car is running nos and now has gotten in the 10 sec. catagory with His V6! Awesome car.

Guys you all can have your opinions. I did what I did to my ride because I wanted to. It is all about me. I make the payment and as far as I am concerned, Ford SHOULD have made a S197 Mach. It would be a GT with customed paint and interior accents...just like the old ones... right???

Flame away if you like...I just think (as was stated before) that the 69-70 Machs were the best looking Stangs ever produced...

I can only afford one car, and it is a daily driver. In 10 months, I have put nearly 17K on my ride. I could not bring myself to subject a "true" classic to that everyday driving. Best I could do is to bring some of the "kool" of those Machs to my ride...
