I received a touch up paint through the mail about a month ago without warning or request. I pretty much assumed this was happening for everyone. Bad assumption?

Interesting...... I guess if this is an automatic thing, then I will have 2 touch-up bottles.

Because I bought my car on the 29th of Novemeber, and if people are getting them sent to their home for their specific car, then I may end up with 2 because my body man ordered me one 2 days ago......and it will come to the shop. Kinda one of those checks in the mail things.......but maybe I will only get one, which is fine too. B)

My dealer told me that Ford sends touch-up paint via mail several weeks after purchase. For you guys that did get touch-up paint did it come along with the dealer survey?

I just filled out my survey and put it in the mail today......but no touch-up came with it. Maybe if you take the time to fill it out......is when they reward you????

Every other ford I've owned, they automatically sent me touch up paint through the mail, I hope it's the same with this one.

My survey did not come with the touch-up paint. But I did get a nice Christmas card from the saleman, saying thanks for the good write-up on the survey.

Those of you that got the touch up paint when did you take delivery? I always got the touch up paint from Ford but nothing on this car with a Nov 17 delivery.

I took delivery of my GT in late October and have not received any touch up paint.

I did receive a dealer survey and a manufacturer survey, and sent both back in. I have now received a second manufacturer survey, and at least 6 cards indicating that another survey is on the way.

I picked my car up on October 28.

I've received two surveys over that period and replied to both. The first was a fairly broad cut at how I liked the car and the second got down to specifics about problems and issues.

Last Monday what appears in the mail as a gift from the dealer but the kit with the bottle of touch-up paint!!

The dealer told me that within 6 to 8 weeks after delivery, Ford sends out the touch-up paint. So I guess you send in your surveys and are rewarded with a bottle of your very own touch-up paint
