Yea, it sucks. At least it was just the wheel.

And at least it was just an OEM wheel that's still in production and you can get 'just one'. Still sucks though.

Lucky you are ok, I have some minor dents on mine from a brick hitting the rim.....that is too bad at least you can get one to replace it easily!

I feel for you. On Thanksgiving, I was driving back from a big get together in the country and came across some VERY SOLID ice on the interstate going through the mountains. About 10 miles of that crap made for some VERY unfun driving! Thankfully, there was no accidents (at least, that I was involved in!)

That does suck, but unfortunately it's probably more than just the wheel with that hard of impact. You should get your whole front end checked.

Fortunately(I guess)it was the rear wheel. When my stang started to come around, I (over)corrected for the slide, it caught, shot towards the curb, I hit the gas and spun it into the curb wth the rear end. I'm hoping to find it on Ebay soon.

Check that your panhard rod is ok. I did the same thing 2 years ago and I had bent axle and the panhard was shot. I figured it was time for a gear change and adj. panhard anyway.
