Mine should be around $265.00/mo. That's with half down, 60 months @ 3.95%.

I'm gonna try and be creative with the loan since I have a condo with some equity in it.
I have a few credit cards that offer 0% apr for a year or so on cash advances...I was gonna take out a few of those (one trusting credit card upped my line to 15k!!) and put the rest on a home equity line of credit.
Overall the amount I "have" to pay will be low (maybe $250 on 25k of debt), the interest will be initially low (Only the non tax deductable portion on the HELOC), and I decide with my payment size how quickly I want to pay down the loan...
Plus I get to hold my title
The only annoyance is that I have to bounce around the debt on the credit cards to keep it at 0% apr...

ps-Twilightblu92, keep the pgt for the winter...I have a 94...I slap a set of blizzaks on her and she's awesome in the snow!

If I can get it under $400, I'll be happy! $380 is my goal as of now.

48 months @ 4.25% = 317.00 monthly
That's what, $13k down? [/b][/quote]
$14K cash down...I'm not planning on trading my current car in.

This is why I am going to wait and pay off my Focus then look into either a new 07 GT or keep my Focus for the winter and get a used 05 or 06. I figure someone will be wanting to sell their Gt for a cobra, Mach 1 model that will be coming out later. This way it will be cheaper to get the Gt being preowned.

I feel your pain. I am going to have to be really patient and wait for the deals to come through (won't be as easy when I see some of those '05s on the street. I want a vert anyway and they will not be out until the Spring. Haven't decided yet between the V6 or the GT. A GT vert may be to much for this public servant to pocket. I have a 2002 V6 vert now and it gets along nicely.

even the full $2000 in 'deals' will not make the car any cheaper.

Im paying 25901 for a fully loaded 2005 Mustang GT on D plan.
I have 2000 for a down payment and an am getting an additional 1400 net for my tradein.

Total downpayment with tradein is 3400$

I'll be paying about 466$, 4.3% for 60 months. Im currently paying 427$, 7.9% for 60($5600 payoff) on my 2001 V6.

Tax is 6.25%

The 466$ was calculated when I thought I was getting only 600$ net for my tradein, I haven't recalulated, with 1400$ net for my tradein. Since I have all my budgeting planned for 466$-488$ if its lower then all the better.
