The world is full of mental midgets. Success is our revenge. We love our Mustangs and we are driving what many people only dream of or can't because all of the funds go to mini-vans and school stuff.

I had to wait until my kids grew up to buy my muscle car. I'm glad I have it and it gets all kinds of cool attention. Once in a while some mental midget does something stupid but all in all its been fun.

Driving my Mustang is my revenge. They can't even imagine how fun it is cruising with the top down and the pipes rumbling.

My wife and I went into a store and left the vert with to top down. We always do this and make sure to set the alarm and leave nothing out.

Some horses pahooty threw a half full 44 oz drink into the car. What a mess. We had to go back in the store and buy a roll of paper towels and glass cleaner.

I wish I could have caught whoever did it.

Perhaps it is better I didn't.
Last week I stopped at a Walgreens to buy some gum and I didn't feel like putting the top up. Of course, one register and theres like 10 people in line, so I wait, but while I am waiting I can't stop thinking about the vert. So i finally get my gum and go outside and a guy next to my car is about to get in his early '90's corolla. So I set off the alarm, just so he won't open his door. I get in my car and find an empty bag of chips in it!?! I look at him, he smiles, by then I'm pissed, but don't do anything. :nono: I just took off before he could open his door right into the side of my car. Gotta choose my battles, but a soda all over the interior might be a different story.

Wherever we go, even if it is only for a few minutes - the top goes up. If neither of us will be in the car, up it goes.

If you had a coupe, you'd hit the lock button when you walked away, right? My take on it, as a vert owner, is that I agreed to a few extra steps to lock her up every time I walk away. She is worth the time and minimal effort.

Oh wait, I WILL leave the top down - if she's in the garage and the door is closed. That's it!
