Sweet looking car and great kill! I can't see you smoking Z06s with 114 mph trap speeds though. Most of the Z06s I have seen trap in the 123-125 range with a decent driver. They are VERY hard to launch on stock tires though so I you got a good jump I could see you holding one off for awhile anyway.

The Viper driver's expression was priceless only to be compared to the look of sheer terror on my wife's face as we were screaming down the road.
My highest trap speed this year was 118 MPH. Not nearly as high as those C-6 Z06 Vettes but high enough to take them on the street. I played with a C-5 Z06 before also. Those new Z06 don't lauch very well. I have taken them right off the line and then held them off. They sound awsome though. I am sure with a good set of drag tires and an experience driver I would be toast.
I never see Z06 Vettes at the track I hang at. Never seen a Viper there either. I'd love to play at the track with them. There are lots of low 11-second and high 10-second Terminator Cobras there though! I would love to compete with them someday when I do forged rotating assembly and 14 lbs boost.
It's all fun as long as we are safe while playing! I respect him for trying to smoke my Stang.... it just didn't work out that way!

Most likely a bad driver. My buddy's old 03 Viper trapped 120-121 stock in 80 degree weather. They aren't geared for drag racing really. First gear goes over 60 mph.

How is the car on street tires? Does it just blow out the tires? I am looking at a Whipple and am curious. My car has a bunch of suspension mods and I am running 275/40/18 RE050A Pole Positions all around.

If she moves out entirely over something like that, then she has done you a favor in the long run, IMHO.
A woman [or man, for that matter] who makes paltry demands/ultimatums, and is always telling their partner what to do, is a woman/man not worth having around, because at that point it's not about a relationship, it's about power and control.

I was trapping at 118 MPH on Friday night. Do you think + or - 2 MPH make that much difference? We only made it to about 80 MPH or so on the street encounter.
